In the hospital.....

Sunday November 22nd
5:00pm Checked into the hospital.
5:30pm Hooked up to the monitor and realized I was contracting, dialated still at 1cm 70% effaced.
6:45pm Started the Cytotech.
7:30pm Was giving some pain meds (starting to hurt a little) nurse checked me 1 1/2cm 75% effaced.
9:30pm Time for bed.

Monday November 23rd
5:30am They woke me up and started my Pitocin, checked me and I was 2 1/2 cm.
9:30am Checked me I was 3cm and wanted my epidural.
10:00am Broke my water
11:45am Checked me I was at 5cm
12:00pm I realized that my epidural was only working on the left side of my body and I was feeling EVERYTHING on the right side. I was having contractions every min in a half and was in quite a bit of pain.
12:50pm I told my sister to hurry up and get the doctor b/c I could tell the baby was coming!
12:55pm Nurse checked me and sure enough I was fully dilated and the babies head was right there.
1:00pm Doctor got there and a couple pushes later he was here!
1:06pm Carson made it into this world!

Less than a week from today.....

I went to see my doctor yesterday and was still only 1 cm dialted, but I will be checking into the hospital on Sunday the 22nd at 5:00. We are getting so excited to see this little guy. I will be blogging while I am in the hospital (gotta love wifi) ; ) BTW if anyone needs an amazing sweet OB/GYN Dr. Hinton is the one!

Just got back from my doctors appt. and looks like we will be seeing baby Carson a little early. I will be induced on Nov 23rd! I am so excited to finally see this little man, I was also a fingertip diatlated! My mother-in-law will be coming down that weekend to be here for the birth of Carson and my mother and sister will also be there as well. Jared and I can't wait to welcome him into this world in 2 weeks!
